Hi! I am Dr. Renee Worthen, and I teach Strategic Communications at the University of Florida. Welcome to our little corner!

This is a class blog for young writers, advertisers, marketers, and telecommunicators just starting out in their respective fields. Hopefully, this blog will serve three main purposes:

1. It will help facilitate student’s efforts to observe, think, and write strategically about a variety of topics in media, business, and marketing.
2. It will help students develop strong copywriting skills through direct engagement with readership and consumers through the use of SEO practices.
3. It will help students learn how to design documents, web pages, and blogs in an effort to create a total experience for readers.

This blog will range in content that will broadly focus on branding, advertising, marketing, and business practices. It’s also a place for everyone to get their feet into the weird and scary phenomenon known as digital content marketing.
